Wheelie Bin Sticker — Wombat

Our Wheelie Bin Sticker Project began with a desire to create something unique that would resonate with our community but we didn’t want to replicate existing designs.
We thank our friend Elleke Leurs for highlighting a safety initiative that used images of children on bin stickers developed by Brisbane City Council in 2016

We were all inspired and set out to put a wildlife spin on the idea!

We are immensely grateful to Petra Harris’s for generously donating this stunning image of this beautiful wombat, an orphan raised at Bonorong wildlife sanctuary. Reuben Hore-Waterhouse lent his computer skills to bring the project to life, and Progress Printing delivered exceptional print quality.

In today's digital age, where human connections thrive online, we often find ourselves disconnected from the natural world. Our wildlife-themed bin stickers aim to bridge this gap by serving as a reminder of the beauty and diversity of our local wildlife. By rekindling this connection, we hope to cultivate a sense of appreciation and care for our wildlife.
